Disowned and disabled

This series looks at the history of residential care in the UK. It uses a combination of case studies, interviews and narration to shed light on the sometimes traumatic experiences of children who grew up in the care system.

An enlightening watch that provides both personal and wider sociological perspectives on the way we treat children in care.
