Monitoring poverty and social exclusion 2013

This month the Joseph Rowntree Foundation released their annual report on poverty and social exclusion. It shows that 13 million people are living in poverty in the UK – with more than half of this group residing in households where at least one family member is working. JRF also found that average incomes have fallen 8% since 2008.

The full report, available at this link, contains an analysis of low income, unemployment, low pay homelessness and ill health.
