Dumb ways to die

This week Network Rail released another video compilation of people having accidents at railway stations in a bid to reduce the number of incidents that result in injury at their stations. Over the past few years this has become a common way to raise awareness of railway safety in Britain.

In comparison an Australian public service ad campaign called ‘dumb ways to die’ featuring a colourful cartoon and catchy song has become an internet hit – and has seen a 21% reduction in accidents and deaths since the campaign began.
