With Kids is hiring Play Therapists in Glasgow and Edinburgh!
Salary: £32,640 to £37,536 (full time salary)
Hours: Full-time, part-time, term-time and flexible posts available
Location: Glasgow & Edinburgh
Start dates: October/November 2025 & January 2026
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer, or their nominee
Many adult mental health problems are rooted in childhood. At With Kids we use Play Therapy to intervene early. We help children work through the difficulties they can’t put into words. So they can express their feelings, understand their emotions, and ultimately lead happier, healthier lives.
We believe in improving the mental health and emotional well-being of children so that each and every child can flourish. When we get this right, children have more opportunities to thrive – in school, in their families, in friendships, in their activities and in their futures. All of our work is rooted in relationships, strengths-based and is child centred. We recognise that all families, regardless of background, can experience difficulties and we aim to provide a safe space to support children and their parents/carers through difficult times – and make sure every child gets what they need for healthy development.

Due to continued increasing demand, we are looking to recruit full-time and part-time, and term-time play therapists to work in mainstream primary schools in Glasgow and Edinburgh on fixed-term contracts. There is a possibility of contract extension.
